ACCOUNTING

Eide Bailly CPAs and Business Advisors hired Tim McCutcheon as a nonprofit audit partner. He will work out of the firm’s office in Boulder serving clients in Denver, Frisco, Vail and Grand Junction.

 

ADVERTISING

XYZ Graphics, a creative service, image creation and post-production studio with offices in Boulder, San Francisco and Los Angeles, appointed Greg Everage as executive producer of computer-generated imagery and emerging technologies. Everage previously was executive producer for creative technology at VFX studio.

 

BANKING, FINANCE

Miriam A. Goodman joined Colorado State Bank and Trust as assistant vice president and trust officer. Goodman work out of the bank’s branch in Boulder at 1505 Pearl St., Suite 105. She will be responsible for business development and support of trust and wealth-management clients in Boulder and Northern Colorado. Goodman previously practiced law for 14 years with the Boulder firm of Frascona, Joiner, Goodman and Greenstein PC focusing on estate planning and trust and estate administration. She is co-chair of the Boulder County Bar Association section on taxation, estate planning and probate.

 

Superior-based Key Equipment Finance, an affiliate of KeyCorp (NYSE: KEY), promoted Amy M. Gross to senior vice president, municipal finance. Gross will direct strategic sales efforts in state, local, educational and health-care tax-exempt marketplaces. Gross joined Key Equipment Finance in 2009 as vice president of federal sales. Previously, she worked for 17 years at GE Commercial Finance. Key Equipment also promoted Brian D. York to facilities and administration manager. York joined Key Equipment in 2000 and most recently was director of collections.

 

BIOSCIENCE

Steve Orndorff, founder of Broomfield-based Ariel Pharmaceuticals, will head the board of directors of the Colorado BioScience Association, an industry trade group. Orndorff takes over the chairman duties from Rick Jory, chief executive of Sandhill Scientific in Highlands Ranch. Derek Cole is the new vice chairman of the board. Cole is vice president at Broomfield-based ARCA biopharma Inc.

 

Thomas Keuer has joined the business advisory board of AmideBio LLC, a biopharmaceutical company based in Boulder. Keuer has more than 30 years experience in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. He has held leadership positions at ARCA biopharma, Insmed, Baxter International, Somatogen and Monsanto.

 

EDUCATION

Chuck Crowe has been named executive director of the Front Range Community College Foundation. Crowe previously was executive director of advancement and alumni relations for the Daniels School of Business at the University of Denver.

 

ENGINEERING

JVA Inc., a structural, civil and environmental consulting engineering firm, hired Danielle Douvas as a design engineer to work in its Boulder office.

 

Broomfield-based MWH Global hired Rick Adcock as planning and sales officer for the company’s strategic consulting unit. Adcock brings more than 20 years of energy and environmental sector experience in global markets as a corporate executive, company founder and owner, project developer, management consultant, engineer and policy analyst.

 

HIGH TECH

 

Longmont-based DigitalGlobe Inc. (NYSE: DGI) appointed Robert Keosheyan as director, corporate communications and public relations. Keosheyan previously was public relations director for Infor, a global, privately held enterprise software firm with $2 billion in annual revenue and 70,000 customers.

 

Boulder-based SparkFun Electronics, which sells electronic parts online at www.sparkfun.com, appointed Lindsay Lefkoff as director of education for the company’s new Department of Education. The department will provide tools and information needed to explore the world of electronics and offer workshops on various areas of electronics technology. It also will collaborate with schools.

 

San Jose, California-based Quantum Corp. (NYSE:QTM), with operations in Boulder, appointed Jon Gacek chief executive succeeding Rick Belluzzo. The change is a result of a planned management succession begun last year. Gacek has also been appointed to Quantum’s board of directors. He has been president and chief operating office of Quantum since January and previously served as executive vice president, COO and CFO since May 2009. He joined Quantum as executive vice president and CFO in August 2006.

 

Former U.S. Congressman Curt Weldon was named chairman of Boulder-based eCrypt Technologies’ board of directors. Weldon plans to fill eCrypt’s board of directors and international advisory board with technology, security, business and government experts from around the world. His first addition to the board is Rear Admiral Jay M. Cohen, retired U.S. Navy. Cohen brings technology and security experience from his years in the U.S. Navy, U.S. Department of Homeland Security and private sector.

 

LAW

 

Patrick Perrin joined Berg Hill Greenleaf & Ruscitti in Boulder as a partner. Perrin has practiced law for more than 20 years and focuses on intellectual property protection and related business transactions including mergers and acquisitions, financing and real estate. He previously served as a partner with the international law firm Hogan Lovells from 1999 to 2010. He helped found the Boulder office of the Washington, D.C.-based firm.

 

NONPROFIT

Denver-based Jeremy Bloom’s Wish of a Lifetime hired George Bogdewiecz as chief executive. He previously was senior vice president of human resources at Great-West Life and Annuity. His

nonprofit experience includes eight years on the board of director at Goodwill Industries Denver.

 

REAL ESTATE

Kathleen Nolan with Nolan Real Estate/Metro Brokers in Lafayette earned the Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource certification from the National Association of Realtors.
