New retailers open at FlatIron Crossing

BROOMFIELD – Several new retailers opened April 1 and several more will open soon at FlatIron Crossing mall in Broomfield.

On April 1, women’s clothing retailer FT Casuals opened on the upper level of the mall near XXI Forever clothing store, said Heather Drake, senior marketing manager at the mall.

XOXO Special Occasion Wear clothing store opened in The Village area near Village Tavern, and Fusion women’s clothing store relocated to the upper level of the mall near Nordstrom, Drake said.

Tilly’s skateboard clothing and accessories shop will open soon in the former Abercrombie & Fitch space on the lower level across from The Gap.

The Dessert Stand cupcake cart opened on the lower level at the base of the mall’s “grand staircase” on April 1, Drake said, along with the Auntie Anne’s Pretzels kiosk on the lower level near Dillard’s.

Frozen yogurt store Red Mango is slated to open April 18 in the food court, and Street Legal Burgers is coming soon, to be operated by the same owners as Street Legal Pizza, Drake said.

Rustic Ranch Relics is holding a regrand opening from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, at its new location next to Borders in The Village area of the mall. 

Bare Escentuals makeup store will open on May 6 where the former Godiva chocolatier was located. Maroon Bells of Colorado chocolates, ice cream and coffee is slated to open this summer as well.

Several stores also are on a remodeling kick, including MasterCuts hair salon, which reopened Friday, April 8, on the lower lever after a several-week makeover, and Brighton Collectibles, which is slated to reopen in late May. The Buckle clothing store is wrapping up a store expansion, Drake said.
