GREELEY – The Greeley Downtown Development Authority Board of Directors
has appointed Pam Bricker the new executive director of the DDA,
replacing former director Tricia Stewart who retired last month.

Bricker has chaired the Greeley Downtown Alliance, the marketing and
communication arm of the DDA, for the last two years. She has also
chaired the Greeley Blues Jam, one of the largest blues music festivals
in the region.

An active community member, Bricker has also served on the boards of
Habitat for Humanity, Habitat ReStore, the Greeley Visitor and
Convention Bureau, United Way of Weld County, the Greeley Chamber of
Commerce, the Weld Food Bank and the Governor’s Small Business Council.

Originally from Lincoln, Neb., Bricker has lived in Greeley since 1980.
She has owned Mariposa Plants, Flowers & Gifts over the past 26
years and moved her store downtown in 2008.

“I think Pam’s background as a downtown small business owner and her
proven track record on making things happen makes her an ideal person
for our DDA director,´ said Bob Tointon, DDA chair. “Pam knows the
players and has a passion for downtown that is contagious. I think she
can take DDA to a new level.”

As she assumes her new role as DDA executive director, Bricker will
transition management and ownership of Mariposa to her staff over the
next few months.
