NCMC Inc. donates $50,000 to Weld Food Bank’s Commercial Kitchen
GREELEY – NCMC Inc., owner of North Colorado Medical Center, announced a
$50,000 donation to Weld County Food Bank’s Commercial Kitchen project.
The $1.15 million project will double the number of hot meals served to
children through the Kids Cafe program and increase the services it
provides to the food bank’s 106 partner agencies. The Commercial Kitchen
will also provide Disaster Food Production capabilities to the local
community and give the food bank the opportunity to partner in providing
culinary arts training, nutrition courses and food safety classes.
NCMC’s gift means the food bank has only $96,500 to raise to meet its
fundraising goal.
