Ciruli poll shows support for Prop. 101

DENVER – According to a recently released Ciruli poll, a majority of
Colorado residents support the November ballot measure known as
Proposition 101, which would lower state income tax, telecommunication
fees and car ownership taxes.

The poll, conducted between Aug. 19 and 23 surveyed 500 likely voters
and showed that 51 percent supported Prop. 101, while other tax issues
on the ballot rated lower.

Forty-five percent of respondents said they’d vote against Amendment 60,
which would cut local property taxes for schools; 34 percent said they
would vote against Amendment 61, which would eliminate state…
