CDOT names director of new division
The Colorado Department of Transportation has selected Mark Imhoff as the director for its new Division of Transit and Rail.
Created by legislation in 2009, the division will oversee the statewide transit program, which will promote, plan, design, finance, operate, maintain and contract for transit services such as passenger rail, buses and advanced guideway systems.
Initial action items include identifying gaps in transit services, and exploring potential new transit and rail services, including high-speed rail, through Colorado.
