Western United Electric buys into Bromley business park

BRIGHTON – The Western United Electric Supply Corp. closed on a 10-acre parcel at the Bromley Interstate Business Park. The $1.38 million deal will give the company future expansion options, according to CEO Mike Prom.

Western United Electric, founded in 1976, is currently housed at the rail-served industrial park where it employs 29. While there are no immediate plans for expansion, Prom explained that the purchase was to avoid the firm becoming land-locked in the future.

The company supplies materials to electric cooperatives in Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico Utah and Nebraska.

Western United was represented by Ted Shipman with the Bromley Cos., and the seller – a group led by King Paul Management LLC – was represented by Paul DeCrescentis and Jarod Pate with DePaul Real Estate Investment Group Inc.
