Sales center opens for senior-living community

BOULDER – The developer of a new senior-living community under construction in Boulder has opened a presentation center at 2480 Canyon Blvd., near McGuckin Hardware.

Denver-based MGL Partners has been redeveloping the former Lutheran Good Samaritan senior-care facility at 2525 Taft Drive in Boulder, which it purchased for $6.35 million in November 2007 and received a $41.1 million construction loan in June 2009 for the redevelopment.

The project is being rebranded as The Carillon at Boulder Creek, featuring 117 independent senior-living units. Work on the existing 120,000-square-foot, nine-story building is expected to be complete by August, at which time MGL plans…
