AMD provides computers for Boys and Girls Club

FORT
COLLINS – The Boys and Girls Club of Larimer County celebrated the
grand opening of its AMD Technology Center Thursday with $16,000 worth
of new computers and software donated by Advanced Micro Devices Inc.

AMD
provided 10 new computers for the club, located at 1608 Lancer Drive in
Fort Collins. The new computer systems, along with a $5,000
contribution from the AMD Foundation, make it possible
to kick off AMD’s Game Tech pilot project, said Kathi Wright, director
of Boys and Girls Club of Larimer County.
