DENVER – John Collar has resigned as chief executive and president of the Colorado BioScience Association, a nonprofit organization that provides services and support for Colorado’s biotechnology and medical device industries.
Collar, who led the association since December 2008, resigned Feb. 1 to pursue other opportunities, according to an association press release.
The association appointed Denise Brown to serve as interim executive director beginning Feb. 15 while a formal search is conducted to find Collar’s permanent replacement. She is rejoining the association after retiring as executive director in October 2008.
