Sarah Bennett named Realtor of the Year

FORT COLLINS – Sarah Bennett was named Realtor of the Year Thursday by the Fort Collins Board of Realtors.

Bennett, an agent with Re/Max Advanced, has been in a leadership role with FCBR since February, and was installed as president in September. She was cited for overseeing many changes at the FCBR during the past year and for demonstrating to its members the meaning of leadership, according to Michelle Jacobs, FCBR director of government affairs and communications.

Also during the annual event at the Fort Collins Hilton, Mary Ann Michels was presented with the “Rookie of the Year” award, which recognizes those who have not only begun a career in real estate but also have tried to balance managing a business while maintaining a “rich involvement in family, community and the association.”
