Loveland Workforce Center office to close for remodeling
LOVELAND – The Larimer County Workforce Center office at 418 E. Fourth St. in Loveland will be closed for about a month for remodeling beginning on Sept. 24, at 3 p.m. It is scheduled to reopen on Oct. 19 at 8 a.m.
Most workshops, orientations and assessments have been relocated to either the Larimer County Office Building at 205 E. Sixth St. in Loveland or to the Fort Collins Workforce Center office at 200 W. Oak St. All customers signed up for these workshops will be notified of relocation or cancellations by Sept. 24.
Loveland staff will continue to work during the closure but will be available only by phone or special appointment offsite. An updated list of computer labs in Larimer County will be available to customers who need a computer for job searching.
All Workforce and Unemployment Insurance forms may be placed in the black mailbox beside the front door at the Loveland office during the remodeling, and will be collected and processed Monday through Friday.
Building owner Jim Katopodis has hired Thunderpup Construction Co. of Fort Collins to handle the remodel, which will include new flooring and paint as well as updating storage spaces and the conference room.
