Eldora, Christy Sports offer discounts

NEDERLAND – Eldora Mountain Resort in Nederland and Christy Sports are teaming up to provide families discounted children’s ski rentals and passes for the upcoming season.

The Gear and Grow program is designed to make skiing and snowboarding more affordable by avoiding the need to purchase new equipment for children as they grow. The discounted package includes a season-long ski rental and an unlimited season pass for $189. It is available to children ages 6 to 12, and upgrades are available, including snowboards and performance ski packages.

“Kids grow so fast, families who love hitting the slopes together are often faced with having to upgrade equipment year after year; we are trying to make it a little easier on them,´ said Dan Fox, Front Range operations director at Christy Sports. “With Eldora being known as a family resort, it was ideal for us to partner with them to provide an affordable option for families again this season.”

Based in Lakewood, Christy Sports has two locations in Boulder and Broomfield, one at 2000 30th St. in Boulder and another at 520 Zang St. in Broomfield.
