Legg interim planning director for Larimer County

FORT COLLINS – Russ Legg, Larimer County’s chief planner, has been named interim director for the county’s Planning and Building Division following the retirement of Larry Timm.

Timm, who had served two stints as county planning director for a total of nearly 20 years, retired on Aug. 25.

Deni LaRue, Larimer County’s information manager, said the county does not plan to fill the vacancy until 2010 “for financial reasons and to take some time to look at overall management structure and staffing in the division.”
