St. Renatus to join RMI2

FORT COLLINS – St. Renatus, a Fort Collins-based startup that plans to offer the world’s first needle-free dental anesthetic, announced it has accepted an invitation to join the Rocky Mountain Innovation Initiative.

As a member of RMI2, St. Renatus will receive customized programs and services from the member institutions. Earlier this year, St. Renatus announced the completion of Phase II clinical trials for its nasal spray dental anesthetic, Kovacaine Mist. The company expects the product to be ready to market by the end of 2010.

RMI2 is a regional nonprofit dedicated to helping Northern Colorado’s scientific and technology startup companies achieve success. It is a partnership funded by the cities of Fort Collins and Loveland, Colorado State University, CSU Ventures and the Northern Colorado Economic Development Corp.
