Realtors honor Diggs Brown as Citizen of the Year

FORT COLLINS – The Fort Collins Board of Realtors will honor Diggs Brown at its 2009 Citizen of the Year during its annual luncheon tomorrow.

The event will feature Congresswoman Betsy Markey as the keynote speaker. Brown is being honored for his service to Fort Collins as a council member as well as to his country as a soldier. Brown, a major in the U.S. Army National Guard, served one term on the Fort Collins City Council before being deployed with the U.S. Army Special Forces to the Middle East. He will accept his award via the Internet.
