DaVita moving HQ to Denver area

DENVER – A nationwide provider of kidney-care services with dialysis centers in Boulder and Longmont announced that it is moving its corporate headquarters from California to the Denver metro area.

DaVita Inc. (NYSE:DVA) said it will move its top executives, followed by an undetermined amount of corporate employees from its existing headquarters in El Segundo, Calif.   

DaVita is a $6 billion company, which operates more than 1,400 outpatient dialysis centers and acute units in more than 700 hospitals in 43 states and the District of Columbia.  It employs more than 32,000 people and serves more than 114,000 patients nationwide.
