WhiteWave captures fruit in a bottle

BROOMFIELD – WhiteWave Foods in Broomfield is teaming with Switzerland-based Hero Group to make and distribute Fruit2Day, a combination of all-natural fruit bits and juice in a bottle.

The all-natural snack was launched Monday in stores nationwide with a suggested retail price of $3.79 for a two-pack of 6.75-ounce bottles.

Hero, based in Lenzburg, Switzerland, and WhiteWave, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dean Foods Co. (NYSE:DF), formed a joint venture to make and brand the product in the U.S., which has had success in Europe.
