GHX takes fastest company title
LOUISVILLE – GHX in Louisville earned the title of Fastest Company in Colorado after winning the second Freeman Myre Corporate Challenge and CTC Sunset 5K held Tuesday at the Colorado Technology Center in Louisville.
The GHX Cubicle Warriors team of Clint Wells, Carl Kinney, Keith Marshall and Ben Stallworth posted a combined time of 51 minutes, 50 seconds. The best three individual times were used to determine team times.
Wells also won the race with a time of 15:26.
The Planned Pethood Posse Men finished second in 52:19, and the Market Movers from Wall Street on Demand was third, 57:36.
The Market Movers women’s team won that division with a time of 67:45. Team members were Sarah Williamson, Deborah Zell, Deborah Elvin and Laurie Castleberry. Synergy placed second in 81:56, and Team Penne from Noodles & Co. placed third, 85:43.
The co-ed title went to Ball Aerospace’s team of Jamie Schiel, Scott Inlow, Alan Enos, Steve Merschel and Andrew Cooper posting a time of 57:43. Alta Physical Therapy was second with a time of 57:43 and BSC Boneheads was third, 58:50.
Erin Martson, running with Alta Physical Therapy, won the individual women’s title with a time of 19:26.
A total of 244 runners participated in the race, 123 men and 121 women.
