Boulder ‘Rink’ building sold

BOULDER – A local commercial real estate company has purchased The Rink Building at 1722 14th St. in downtown Boulder for $3,085,000.

The W.W. Reynolds Cos. purchased the 15,545-square-foot building, which had previously been Boulder’s roller-skating rink before being converted into office space in 1975.

The company plans to keep the building as-is for now, said W.W. Reynolds President Jeff Wingert.

“We have no immediate plans,” he said. “It’s a good property in a good location in downtown Boulder.”

The building is 100 percent leased with 13 tenants – the largest being Summit Blue Consulting LLC, which provides energy and utility industry consulting.

KC Schneider of Schneider Commercial Real Estate sold the building to W.W. Reynolds.

Becky Gamble with Dean Callan & Co. helped broker the real estate deal.
