Collective Intellect secures $6.6 million

BOULDER – Collective Intellect, a social media analytics company based in Boulder, has raised $6.6 million in a second round of funding.

The round was led by Maryland-based Grotech Capital Group and included existing investors Appian Ventures in Denver, Croghan Investments in Longmont and new investor Crawley Hatfield Capital LP in Denver.

Collective Intellect will use the money to expand its marketing and sales initiatives for its

monitoring services and analytics-based content.

The company tracks, filters, rank and analyzes social media content on the Internet for a wide array of businesses. It uses algorithms to identify and analyze content of blogs, discussion…
