Woodward Governor ending year strong

FORT COLLINS – As Woodward Governor Co. approaches the end of its first year headquartered in Fort Collins, the company is making some adjustments to accommodate its new global power position.

Woodward had a record year in 2007, breaking $1 billion in sales for the first time in its long history. That represents a 22 percent increase compared to the previous year, 11 percent of it organic growth. Net income grew from $69.9 million for the fiscal year 2006 to $98.2 million this year.
