Got game? Exotic meats gain popularity with cooks

What’s for dinner tonight?

Thanks to the wildly popular television cooking shows and chef cook-offs where wild game and exotic meats are common ingredients, the average home cook is becoming more experimental.

The result? It’s no longer just the cook who doubles as a hunter – or at least who’s on good terms with a hunter – enjoying venison stew, elk steaks or bison burgers.
