Boulder County job growth predicted
BOULDER – The number of jobs in Boulder County rose 3 percent in 2007, surpassing the peak employment figures at the height of the technology boom in 2001, according to a new report.
The 2008 Colorado Business Economic Outlook predicts that the area will continue to see growth next year in the key industry areas of aerospace, bioscience, information technology, natural and organic products, outdoor gear and recreation, renewable energy and tourism.
The 43rd annual economic outlook compiled by the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business and sponsored by Compass Bank was presented today in Denver.
