Regional innovation initiative launched

LOVELAND – The effort to take incubator services regional has been made official.

Today, representatives from around Northern Colorado unveiled the Rocky Mountain Innovation Initiative. The effort will be headed by Mark Forsyth, currently executive director of the Fort Collins Technology Incubator.

Partners in RMII include the cities of Fort Collins, Greeley and Loveland, Larimer County, Colorado State University, the Northern Colorado Economic Development Corp. and the Colorado State University Research Foundation.

“This is a historical day,´ said NCEDC President and CEO Maury Dobbie. “We’re rethinking how economic development is done here.”
