Wal-Mart buys land for stores
LONGMONT – Wal-Mart Stores Inc. has closed on its deal to purchase 46 acres of land southeast of Colorado 119 and County Line Road in Longmont
The nation’s largest retailer has said it plans to build a Wal-Mart Supercenter and a Sam’s Club on Weld County property that is in Longmont. Wal-Mart has yet to finalize those plans, but the land purchase indicates it is moving ahead.
