Ironic T-shirts display political, ‘stupid’ humor

SUPERIOR – Benjamin Greller was driving from Colorado to California in 2005 and stumbled upon a yellow trend that gave him an idea for a T-shirt – an idea that became the logo for his Superior-based company, the Ironic T-Shirt Corp.

Everywhere he looked people had the “Support Our Troops” yellow ribbon on the back of their cars. Greller saw this as a sign of conformity and created the anti-yellow ribbon, which is essentially the yellow ribbon with an X through it.
