CSU gets kudos from national mags

FORT COLLINS — Colorado State University recently received top ratings from two national magazines.

In its October edition, Kiplinger’s Personal Finance Magazine ranks CSU at No. 50 of the top 100 public universities in terms of quality of education and affordability.

U.S. News and World Report rated CSU in the second tier of national universities in its Sept. 23 edition. The school’s College of Engineering rated No. 57 in the country moving up two spots from last year’s rankings. Enrollment in the engineering college is at a 10-year high with 2,056 students including 1,509 undergraduates. This fall’s incoming freshmen class of 327 students had an average high-school GPA of 3.75.
