Bank showdown over stagecoach amicable

Centennial Bank, Wells Fargo working out logo problem

EATON — The towns in Northern Colorado aren’t big enough for the two of them — well, not their stagecoaches, anyway.

The stagecoach is the logo Centennial Bank of the West chose when it was formed in 1993. But now there’s a new stagecoach in town. Wells Fargo Bank has exclusive rights to the stagecoach image in the areas in which it operates.

Anyone who thinks a company’s brand isn’t important must be a business greenhorn.
