GREELEY — Cinemark USA Inc. (NYSE:CNK proposed) is opening a 12-screen theater at the Greeley Mall where the former Montgomery Ward once stood. The theater will feature stadium-style seating and an art-deco design.
“We are in a lot of midsized markets,´ said Terrell Salk, vice president of marketing and communications for Cinemark. “We are familiar with the demographics involved in these markets, and Greeley fits into this category.”
Cinemark is an established theater chain in Colorado with 74 screens. The company has five theaters along the Front Range including Cinemark 16 in Fort Collins; Tinseltown 20, Cinemark 17 and Cinemark IMAX theater in Colorado Springs; Tiffany Plaza Movies 6 in Denver; and Tinseltown 14 in Pueblo.
Along with the 40,000 square feet the theater will occupy, several new restaurants are in the planning stages. A new Olive Garden restaurant is slated to open at the location in October.
