CSU cuts deal with ticket distributor

FORT COLLINS — Tickets for Colorado State University athletic events will be easier to buy thanks to a new agreement.

CSU has signed a one-year deal with TicketsWest to distribute tickets at all Colorado King Soopers and selected City Market locations.

“The agreement has an annual rollover option, which will allow all parties to renew the contract assuming everybody is happy,” Colorado State University Director of Athletics Jeffrey Hathaway said. “We are very excited about the deal. It is in everybody’s best interest, and with 89 outlets available it is just another service for our fans.”

TicketsWest is an operating division of WestCoast Hospitality Corp. (NYSE:WEH) and will provide regional outlet distribution as well as additional call center support via the TicketsWest call center in Colorado Springs and on the Internet at www.ticketswest.com.

TicketsWest currently provides ticketing distribution support for the University of Colorado, Colorado College, Colorado Rockies, Denver Center of Performing Arts and other venues.

Tickets for the Rams football home games will be available as well as individual game tickets for the 2002-03 seasons of volleyball and men’s and women’s basketball. The target sales date for football tickets is Aug. 12.
