SignalSoft technology helps friends find one another

BOULDER — When SignalSoft came up with the concept of a wireless location finding service that connected to an individuals phone service, now called FriendFinder, no one could figure out why they would want that application hooked up.

?This application was a hit in Europe, so we’re bringing it here?and now everyone wants one,? said SignalSoft Corp. President and Chief Executive Officer David Hose.

The Boulder-based SignalSoft was founded by Hose in 1995 to focus on wireless location-based services.

Christopher Wood is editor and publisher of BizWest, a regional business journal covering Boulder, Broomfield, Larimer and Weld counties.
