Windsor approaching development balance

WINDSOR — It’s hard to believe that 10 years ago Windsor’s population was just cresting at 5,000. Today, town officials estimate its population at 12,500 and still growing. Ten years ago — even five — residents resigned themselves to driving to Greeley or Fort Collins for most of their shopping.

Christopher Wood is editor and publisher of BizWest, a regional business journal covering Boulder, Broomfield, Larimer and Weld counties.
