I Have a Dream Foundation looking for individuals, businesses for ?Adopt-a-Family? holiday program

The I Have a Dream Foundation of Boulder County is looking for individuals and businesses from the community to participate in the ?Adopt-a-Family? program this holiday season.

More than 100 low-income families in the foundation’s programs in Boulder, Longmont and Lafayette are in need of holiday gifts.

Business Cares: April 2024

In Colorado, 1 in 3 women, 1 in 3 men and 1 in 2 transgender individuals will experience an attempted or completed sexual assault in their lifetime. During April, we recognize Sexual Assault Awareness Month with the hopes of increasing conversations about this very important issue.

Families range in size from two to 10 members. You will be matched to a family appropriate to your needs and sent a list of gift ideas ranging from $4 to $30 for each family member. Sponsoring individuals are asked to buy at least one gift per family member. Gifts must be delivered by Dec. 17.

The I Have a Dream Foundation of Boulder County helps children from low-income areas become productive citizens by providing a long-term program of mentoring, tutoring and academic enrichment, with an assured opportunity for higher education.
