Golf sponsorships growing in area

Need to raise some money? Need to increase community awareness of your company?

Organizing a benefit golf tournament in Northern Colorado — and sponsoring such an event — is increasingly becoming the thing to do. So much so, in fact, that tournaments have become a rite of summer.

“I think there are a lot more organizations out there trying to use golf as a means for fund raising,´ said Mike Auerbach, general manager of the Greeley Country Club. “I’ve seen an increase in the requests for tournaments at the country club.”
