Fowler Real Estate joins ERA franchise

BOULDER — Fowler Real Estate became an Electronic Realty Associates (ERA) franchise on March 1.

For nine years, Fowler Real Estate had worked with Meredith Corp.’s Better Homes & Gardens (BH&G). When Meredith Corp. sold the real estate portion of BH&G to General Motors Acceptance Corp.(GMAC), “we were kind of forced into this new corporate environment,´ said Tom Fowler, president of Fowler Real Estate.

The buyout changed the tone of the franchisor, and this impacted Fowler Real Estate. Many agents who had worked under BH&G left the company when Meredith sold out, Folwer said.
