Co-owners say they’re committed to home ownership

With only five years under their belts, former Hawaiians Matt Deal and Scott McDonald are making big waves in the local construction scene.

Deal and McDonald are co-owners of Parkside Homes, a Fort Collins-based company that placed 10th in this year’s “Top 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies” as surveyed by The Northern Colorado Business Report.

Parkside Homes, which specializes in entry-level and affordable homes, posted a revenue increase of 135 percent between 1999 and 2000 and was the fastest-growing construction company on this year’s list.

But that’s nothing new, Deal said.
