Concrete company building strong reputation

LOVELAND — A sleeping-bear sculpture made from concrete lies in the front yard of Colorado Precast Concrete Inc.

But the company is no sleeping giant. No, this bear has emerged from its winter cave and is foraging for food.

Colorado Precast has jumped from No. 69 on The Northern Colorado Business Report’s 2000 list of fastest growing companies to No. 7 on the 2001 list. The company’s revenues grew from $5 million to $13 million, or 160 percent.
