Boulder council?s take on economy could add new job in city hall

Boulder city council is about to sit down and examine something that for years ? with local and regional business growth booming ? it has been happy to pretty much leave alone while reaping the benefits.

A strategic plan for Boulder’s “Healthy Economy” ? the result of several months of hard work, including community and business focus groups, by a seven-member economic sustainability committee ? will be presented in a council study session on Tuesday evening, May 22. Economic sustainability is one of the four goals the council adopted for its work agenda.
