Volunteers needed for events during Walk, Bike Week

BOULDER ? Get ready to put on your walking shoes, strap on your helmet and leave the car keys at home. Starting June 9-17, the city’s GO Boulder alternative transportation program, Walk and Bike Week 2001, gets under way.

This week promotes walking, biking and alternative transit methods to create awareness and use of all the transportation options that Boulder has to offer.

Volunteers are needed to help with a variety of events, especially the Walk and Bike to Work Breakfast on Wednesday, June 13. Volunteers can work for an hour, a day or the entire week and will receive a free Walk and Bike Week 2001 T-shirt.
