Humane Society to host annual Puttin? on the Leash fund-raiser

BOULDER — On April 28, the University of Colorado’s Coors Event Center will be transformed into a jungle. The Humane Society of Boulder Valley is hosting its annual fund-raiser, Puttin’ on the Leash. This year’s theme is “It’s a Jungle Out There!”

The evening will include hors d’oeuvres, entertainment and a silent and live auction. Gregg Moss of Channel 9 News will co-host the event. Moss will be featured with shelter animals during the Adoptable Animal Showcase. Other special celebrity guests will make appearances throughout the night.

Vacation getaways, merchandise, gift certificates and other items will be available for bidding during the live and silent auctions. There also will be a raffle for the grand prize, a trip for two to Costa Rica.

Tickets for the event are $50. Special group seating is available for $750 for a group of 10.
