IRS Web site resource for vital tax questions, access to forms

Last year the Internal Revenue Service’s Web site was accessed by approximately one billion visitors. Rather than spend time on the telephone, many taxpayers have discovered that almost all their questions can be answered by accessing the site any time day or night.

Now is a good time to visit the IRS Web site at www.irs.gov. The site has so much information available that you can find virtually everything you need to help you prepare for filing your 2000 income tax return and meet that April 15 deadline with ease.

The IRS Web site has all the latest IRS news as well as forms and publications you can download and print. You can even ask questions and get a response from the IRS.
