BVP Media Inc., a Denver-based video, film and interactive production company, promoted Duane Ciacco to account director.ARCHITECTURE, CONSTRUCTIONWilliam Mead has joined the Denver office of Bovis Lend Lease, a provider of construction services, as a pre-construction manager.ARTSThe Colorado Music Festival has selected Michael Christie as its new music director. Christie, 26, replaces founding director Giora Bernstein as the conductor of the summer music festival’s 25th anniversary season opening in June. The young American conductor came to international attention in 1995 when he was awarded a special prize for Outstanding Potential at the First International Sibelius Conductor’s Competition in Helsinki. Since then, he has been working with orchestras all over the United States and the world.BANKING, FINANCEValley Bank & Trust has appointed Brian Blehm to branch manager of the Brighton location. Dean McArthur is the new assistant branch manager at the Westminster branch.

The chancellor of the University of Colorado at Boulder, Richard L. Byyny, has been elected as a member of the board of The Bank in Boulder.

Vectra Bank Colorado has named Rosalyn Garvey as vice president of commercial lending in the bank’s downtown Boulder branch.

Chris Hirai has joined the Longmont office of Liberty Home Loans as a loan officer.

James Nelson, vice president and general counsel for the Gates Corp., is chair-elect. Centennial Peaks Hospital in Louisville has new providers at the outpatient clinic. Lisa Franceen, a licensed clinical psychologist, will provide services to adults and adolescents. Her specialties include eating disorders, women’s issues, performance enhancement and mood disorders. Tracy Terrell, a licensed professional counselor, will provide counseling services to children and adolescents. Her specialty is in brain injury and trauma. Sherri McIntyre, a licensed professional counselor, will treat seniors and adults. Her focus is on adjustment, personality and mood disorders, illness, grief and loss. Margot Bradley, a clinical nurse specialist and licensed psychologist, will provide adults, adolescents and children with psychotherapy and medication management.

CIGNA Health Care of Colorado has added Tina Lovelace as business manager in the Denver office.

Denise Thornton, community relations director at Balfour Retirement Community of Louisville, has been selected to present a series of sales and marketing certification programs for the Colorado chapter of the Assisted Living Federation of America. Boulder-based Leopard, an e-business marketing agency, named Jody Eichler director of its newly expanded online marketing division.

CyberLoan.com, a Denver-based developer of business-to-business technologies for the financial industry and online lending exchanges, named Luis Vela as executive vice president of the CyberLoan M/H division, the unit responsible for the company’s online exchange for manufactured housing loans.

Boulder-based XOR Inc., an assembler and manager of customized solutions for e-businesses, has appointed Pawan Vora to director of information architecture.

Tantia Technologies, a provider of enterprise backup and recovery solutions that leverage storage area network (SAN) technology, has appointed Timothy Holland to vice president of worldwide sales. Michael Thornton was appointed director of worldwide channel sales.

Carrier Access Corp., a Boulder-based provider of broadband access equipment, announced that Farley Davis, vice president of sales, is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities.

OnStream Inc. of Longmont has appointed former Gateway executive, Dave McKittrick, as its new president. Marlys Wilcoxen Connor, vice president of culinary development for Boulder-based Noodles & Company, has been elected to the Colorado Restaurant Association board of directors.INSURANCEBoulder-based International Catastrophe Insurance Managers LLC (ICAT), has appointed Gregory Kemp as regional vice president for the Gulf Coast and Eastern Seaboard Territory. Colorado Casualty Chief Executive Officer James Morey announced the appointment of Donald Frette as the new company president. Morey will retain his position as chief executive officer. Colorado Casualty is an Englewood-based property casualty insurer for businesses in western states.

Jeffrey Zito is the new senior vice president of business development, Phillip Fierro is the senior vice president of operations and Mark Ware is the vice president of the technology industry practice.
