Advanced Energy, Berkeley Process Control sign deal

Fort Collins-based Advanced Energy Industries Inc. signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Berkeley Process Control Inc. of Richmond, Calif. Berkeley Process, a manufacturer of integrated motion and machine-control technologies, has developed a real-time control system that controls servo motor-driven subsystems, using a low-cost, high-speed Ethernet or similar network. This basic architecture can be expanded beyond motion control to bring the same benefits to the entire machine layer of a process tool.
