Millennium Trust seeks proposals for $500,000 in grants this year

BOULDER – The Millennium Trust, a fund of The Community Foundation, is now seeking concept papers as it launches its first grants cycle. This year’s funding focus will be on projects and groups that strive to build community.

The Millennium Trust was a fund built for the future of Boulder County by 6,100 county residents, each of whom gave the equivalent of one hour of salary to the fund. A total of $1.8 million was raised and pledged to the Millennium Trust.

Earlier this year, an Advisory Committee, made up of 30 individuals who invested in the fund, was selected.…
