Panel to address poverty in economic boom

NIWOT – The economy is booming in communities across the state, but even in the face of so much prosperity, Boulder County has seen a rise in numbers of people in need.

To address this economic paradox, a coalition of community groups is invited area businesspeople to join a public discussion on Saturday, April 8 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Niwot High School. Juan Williams, television news analyst and author of “Eyes on the Prize,” will address the topic: Poverty in the Midst of Abundance.
