Hach founder will address fund-raiser
BOULDER — Kathryn Hach-Darrow, founder, chairman and CEO of the Loveland-based Hach Co., will be keynote speaker for a fund-raising luncheon Feb. 10, benefiting the Colorado Business and Professional Women˜s Foundation.
The Hach Co., which manufactures water-analysis systems, is the largest woman-owned business in Colorado. Hach will speak on "Secrets to Success."
The event, scheduled for 11:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the Regal Harvest House, 1345 28th St. in Boulder, will raise money to fund Colorado BPW Foundation˜s endowment fund, which assists women trying to attain economic self-sufficiency.
Since it was formed in 1976, the foundation has provided scholarships and loans totaling more than $160,000 to more than 150 women.
Tickets for the luncheon will be $40, with a "platinum" ticket, providing preferred seating and a program listing, offered at $65. Patron tables of 10 may be purchased for $650, including preferred room location, table tent signage, program listing and an invitation to a private VIP reception.
Companies also may set up an exhibit table for $125 for a four-foot table or $225 for a 10-foot table. The fee includes one ticket.
Corporate sponsors for the event are U S West Advanced Technologies and Arthur Andersen. The Boulder County Business Report, The Northern Colorado Business Report and Women˜s Magazine are media sponsors.
