Tax credit to expire July, 1997

The Larimer County Enterprise Zone program’s 50 percent state tax credit expires July 1, 1997. The credit is based on the amount of contribution to designated projects.

Contributors who sign a Pledge Agreement Form before the end of June, however, will continue to receive a 50 percent state tax credit for cash contributions through the year 2000. There are 27 enterprise -zone projects that are committed to community development, economic development, affordable health care, affordable housing, child care and helping the homeless.
