Additionally, Tom Livingston and Stuart MacMillan, the firm’s commercial brokers, are broadening their area of emphasis.

“We want to expand and develop our brokerage beyond just what we do for the Everitt Real Estate Services,” MacMillan said. “But we want to do it where we can really add value and focus on really helping that client. We won’t go listing every center.”

“We want extremely comprehensive data collection to understand the big picture as well as trends in construction costs and land sales, for instance,” MacMillan said.

As the commercial arm of The Everitt Cos., MacMillan and Livingston are responsible for leasing all Everitt commercial properties and doing acquisition and development for other arms of The Everitt Cos. The Everitt umbrella owns or manages 1.5 million square feet in Fort Collins.

“That will remain our No. 1 priority,” MacMillan said.
