Workspace Innovations owners partner with Denver’s Elements on new company

FORT COLLINS – The owners of Workspace Innovations Ltd., in Fort Collins and Workplace Elements LLC in Denver have partnered to create a third company focused on sales and marketing of office furniture in Northern Colorado and Wyoming.

The new company is Workspace Elements LLC and will do business as Workspace Innovations Ltd., an Elements Partner.

Traci Lounsbury, one of four principals at Elements, said her partners went in on the new company equally with Workspace Innovations owners Mistene Nugent and her husband Joe.

Solar Operations and Maintenance for Commercial Properties

One key qualification to consider when selecting a solar partner to install your system is whether they have an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) or service department. Since solar is a long-term asset with an expected lifecycle of 30 plus years, ongoing O&M should be considered up front. A trusted O&M partner will maximize your system’s energy output and therefor the return on your investment.

Workspace Innovations, an 8-year-old company, has focused on managing all aspects of office workspace management, including new and used furniture sales, furniture purchasing, installation, layout and design, and commercial relocation.

That company will remain as Workspace Innovations Services and focus primarily on the services side, Lounsbury said Friday. She said Joe Nugent will manage that company.

The new company, meanwhile, will be managed by Mistene Nugent and work closely with Elements on the sales and marketing of office furniture, modular walls and floor coverings. The new company will be able to offer an expanded product portfolio that includes certain brands to which Elements holds exclusive rights in Colorado and Wyoming.

The move gives Elements’ partners a local foothold in the Northern Colorado and Wyoming markets where Workspace Innovations has had showrooms in Fort Collins and Cheyenne. Elements, which has 82 employees in Denver, also has a showroom in Colorado Springs and is working on doubling its 14,000-square-foot space in Denver.

Lounsbury said the Denver and Fort Collins companies had been working together on various projects for a couple of years, and said officially partnering on a new company helps streamline things.

Mistene Nugent couldn’t be reached Friday. But Lounsbury said that the new company currently has five employees who transferred over from the original Workspace Innovations. She added that five new hires would likely be made by the end of the year. The original Workspace Innovations, meanwhile, still has about 30 employees.

Workspace Innovations Services and the new company are both based at 4414 E. Harmony Road in Fort Collins near Interstate 25. Lounsbury said both of those companies would be moving to new Fort Collins locations soon, and that they would likely continue to share space depending on what sort of new location is available.

The Cheyenne showroom is at 211 W. 19th St.
